  Railway Headquarters Building

Malaysia

The Malaysian Railway Headquarters Building in Kuala Lumpur, also known as the Railway Administration Building , was completed in 1917 and is said to be the last public infrastructure erected in the Mughal-style architecture in KL.

The building suffered damage when it was bombed in World War II, and again in 1968, when its 2nd floor was incinerated by fire. It is located opposite of the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station (fig.) on one side and the National Mosque (fig.) on the other.
