A young Oriental Magpie, i.e. a species of bird in the crow family, whose habitat includes the forest edge, cultivated areas, such as public parks and plantations.

 

It has the scientific designation Pica sericea and is also known by the common name Korean Magpie.

It is mostly glossy black with an iridescent metallic green-bluish to purplish sheen on the wings and tail, whilst the belly and patches on the scapulars are white.
