An altar dedicated to Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, holding the Peach of Immortality, which he stole from the magical tree of Xi Wangmu (fig.), the Queen Mother of the West. This statue is located at the Japanese Covered Bridge in Hoi An (fig.).
