Members of the Crime Suppression Division of the Royal Thai Police lining-up in front of the King Rama VI Statue (fig.) at Rajaprasong, on the corner of Lumphini Park, in Bangkok. This monarch was known by the name Wachirawut also transliterated Vajiravudh (fig.), meaning ‘armed with a vajra’. To symbolize this, the lampposts in this square (fig.) are topped with a vajra (fig.).
