Statue of Kali (fig.), the horrifying form of Devi, the consort of Shiva and a goddess of death, violence, and doomsday, at Tantra Thewala, i.e. the ‘Tantra Idol Shrine’, which is also known as Wat Phra Siwa Chao, i.e. the ‘Lord Shiva Temple’, in Bangkok (fig.). She is depicted with a terrifying face with a protruding tongue and her attributes include a necklace of human skulls and a belt of decapitated hands.
