The Golden Temple of the Sikhs in Amritsar derives its name from the amrit, the holy water that surrounds the temple. Its foundations were laid during the period of the fifth guru, Arjan Dev (1581-1606). This picture is from a poster light box display at the Gurudwara Sikh temple in Pattaya.
