Workers remove pottery from kilns at Dahn Kwian Pottery Village (fig.) in the Isaan province of Nakhon Ratchasima.

Besides pottery, this community also produces other types of earthenware and ceramics, such as garden figurines.

Terracotta figurines usually include Thai children in traditional dress and water buffaloes.

Alongside traditional Thai figurines, also characters from popular Japanese cartoons are produced, such as this one of Goku, a fictional character based on Sun Wukong (fig.).

In addition to local sales, this ceramics village also distributes its products nationwide.
