A small butterfly, known as
Common Caerulean, spotted in
Chitwan
NP. Whereas the upper wings are sky blue, the underwings
are buff-brown with discal lines, of which the second on the forewing is
discontinuous.
At the edge of the lower apex of the hindwing is an orange-black ocellus, as
well as a short, filamentous, black, white-tipped tail, at the apex of the
second vein.
