A Chinese tea cup with a pin ming bei (品茗杯), i.e. a cylindrical smelling cup, which is filled up prior to pouring the tea into the drinking cup. It is used to capture the aroma and is held to the nostrils in order to sniff up the tea's fragrance immediately after it has been poured into the drinking cup.
