Acalanatha
(fig.). He is typically portrayed with a
blue complexion, holding a
vajra sword
and seated in the
lotus position, in front of a
flaming nimbus. Here, the tongue of the flame above his
head has the shape of a rooster, referring to the fact
that in
China, Budong is deemed the protector of those born in
the Year of the Rooster. |
