Bronze-winged Jacana (juvenile)
A pair of immature Bronze-winged Jacanas (fig.).
They were spotted in Chitwan NP in southern Nepal, walking on a floating mat of water hyacinths (fig.).
They have white underparts, brown upperparts, and a buff throat.
They are able to walk on floating vegetation because of their huge feet.
