The Silver Arowana is a kind of Dragonfish, with the scientific Latin-Greek name Osteoglossum bicirrhosum, which in Thailand is widely found as an aquarium fish.

It originates from southern America, and strongly resembles the Silver Asian (Scleropages macrocephalus), an Asian species that originally comes from Borneo (fig.).
