A male
Scarlet-backed Flowerpecker,
spotted in
Ubon Ratchathani. It has a white chin and underparts, black bill, legs and feet,
blackish sides of the head and breast, blackish blue wings, and the red back
that gave this bird its name.
The
picture on the right clearly shows its
red crown, neck and uppertail-coverts.
