A kong wong consists of several small kongs of different pitch, hung  in a circular structure. The one in this picture is played by a Mon musician from Burma, in Kanchanaburi.

The photo on the right is in Phnom Penh, in Cambodia. Both instruments are of the type khong wong lek, with 18 smaller gongs.
