khanom kai hia
Khanom kai hia, literally ‘monitor lizard egg sweets’, is a sweet snack of small balls, and is also known as khanom kai hong, i.e. ‘hamsa egg sweets’.
They are made of dough and fried until golden brown and crisp, whilst these are also sprinkled with small black seeds.
