  kabang nah ling

Thailand

Kabang is the name for a kind of crown-like headdress, somewhat reminiscent of a golden diadem, and worn by Thai classical dancers, as well as by certain monkeys and demons in the Ramakien.

When worn by monkeys, it is also referred to as kabang nah ling. Here it can be seen from the front, worn by Nilaphat (fig.), and from the side, worn by Hanuman (fig.).
