The city of
Chachengsao
is
nicknamed
Paet Riw which means ‘eight lines’, ‘eight
slices’ or ‘eight cuts’ and refers to a story that
claims that the city's river once teemed with giant snake-head fish, so large
that they needed up to eight cuts (paet riw) on each side, to make it into
sun-dried fish. |
