Lady Amherst's Pheasant (female)

A female Lady Amherst's Pheasant. The hen is much duller than the male (fig.), with a dark-barred brown plumage, and very similar to the female Golden Pheasant (fig.), but with a darker head, and bluish-grey legs and feet.
