Females and immature Asian Fairy-bluebirds are of an uniform verdant-blue colour. Both males and females have red eyes and a dark grey, slightly bent beak.

Asian Fairy-bluebirds are primarily arboreal birds, that love dwelling in the dense foliage of large trees, often near rivers, but may every now and then also be seen on the ground.
