dok ngiaw (dok ngiw)
The stamen of the flowers (fig.) of the Cotton Tree, which in Thai are known as dok ngiw or dok ngiaw, are used in cooking.
The filaments of the stamen, without the anther (fig.), are dried and used as an ingredient to flavour food.
