A dbu rgyan as worn by monks and deities of the Bön religion (fig.). It consists of five painted panels with depictions of the five dhyani buddhas and their vahana in vivid colours.

 

It is very similar to that of the monks of Lamaism, but the crowns of the latter usually consist of gilded panels (fig.) and include a royal topknot (fig.).
