Ying peun gahn gluay, literally
‘to shoot a
bananastalk gun’, is the name of a
traditional Thai children's game from the past,
played mainly
by boys (fig.).
Kids playfully
shoot at each other with an
imaginary
rifle, that is created from a
banana stem (fig.).

swipe one hand quickly and
powerful along the
upright
parts, which creates a clapping sound similar
to that of a weapon
being fired.
