A plate with offerings including cooked rice under a conical arrangement of flowers and folded leafs is known as bai sri. It is sometimes topped with a boiled egg (fig.).

If in pair, one is usually arranged on a silver phaan (tray), the other on a golden tray, reminiscent of the idea of the silver and gold trees.
