White Elephants,
i.e. two females and one tusked male. These sacred animals are kept in a
sala-like
pavilion in Yangon (fig.).
Whereas the
male arrived in Yangon in 2001 at the age of ca. eight
years old, while each of the two females arrived
separately in 2002, one aged 25 years, the other then
aged only 2.
