Vijayadazaami
On the evening of the annual procession of Vijayadazaami, people make small altars on the street near the Hindu temple.
Offerings of coconuts and coconut candles are made, and in front of the altars the street is strewn with flower petals.
Many people are dressed in white and some also wear garlands made of orange dao reuang flowers (fig.).
