The tiered tower with multiple eaves at the Small Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi'an, originally had 15 stories, but an earthquake reduced its size to just 13 stories.

 

The temple was built during the Tang Dynasty, which can be distinguished from the roof-style of the buildings

The garden is scattered with bearing stones (fig.), steles (fig.), and commemorative stones that are used to mark important events.

 

There is also a large temple bell that when rung is said to bring back lost relatives or friends.
