Ban Khamthiang is
a 175 year old authentic Thai teak house
located in
Bangkok, and
which
serves as an ethnological museum
under royal patronage (fig.).
Though most
roofs are decorated
in the northern
Lan Na-style,
i.e. with a
kalae(fig.),
some buildings also have roofs in
the style of central Thailand, i.e.
decorated with a hook or
antefix
(fig.).
