statues of more Kinnari,
mythical
creatures from
Himaphan
forest, that are
half-bird half-woman, in front of a tree with colourful
Lan Na style
kohm kwaen lanterns
made from paper (fig.). |

Also
present and ready for selfies with visitors are
the
elephants.
Besides having an important role in parts of the show,
they first welcome guests outside and wait for some
kindhearted guest to feed them some of the goodies that
are for sale, such as
sugarcane
and
bananas,
or take visitors on a short ride. |
Early birds can also
visit
the traditional villages in
the backyard that are
built in the styles of the four regions of Thailand (fig.),
and where traditional handicrafts (fig.),
some music, and cooking of Thai snacks is demonstrated (fig.).
