Sheesh Gumbad
Sheesh Gumbad, i.e. the ‘Glass Dome’, at the Lodhi Gardens in New Delhi, a site protected by the national Archeological Survey of India.
Its name derives from the glazed tiles used in its construction. It was built in 1494 as a tomb, but it contains the remains of an unknown family.
