From ancient inscriptions within the
complex, it was discovered that the main divinity
worshipped here was Prahasitesvara, which is one of the
many epithets of
Shiva. |
Besides this, an upper and a lower
part of a broken statue of the goddess
Durga
were found in two
different towers. This deity was one of the most popular early
Khmer
female
sacred images. |
