Jo Liu
A wax image of Ajaan Sakhon Yangkhiawsot leaning aginst a mon khwahn cushion and holding a Phra Phi Kaneht puppet (fig.). He is also known as Jo Liu, and was a famous hun lakon lek puppeteer from Nonthaburi.
He went on to gain royal support for his work, which in June 2006, less than a year before his death in May 2007, won him the Best Traditional Performance Award at the World Festival of Puppet Art in Prague.
