An adult male Ruby-cheeked Sunbird. This roughly 10.5 to 11 centimeters tall bird has shiny, bluish green upperparts.

It has yellow underparts and an orangey to orange-rufous throat and breast, whereas its cheeks are dark ruby. This one was spotted in Kanchanaburi.
