A Red-wattled Lapwing. This bird has loud piercing call, that can go on for hours during the breeding season, even well into the night and which sounds like ‘did he do it’.

With the exception of Isaan, this bird is found everywhere in Thailand, most commonly in short and sparse vegetation near water. This one was spotted in Chainat.
