PROVINCIAL ESCUTCHEON
Ranong
The escutcheon of Ranong shows a royal pavilion on Niwet Khiri Mountain. In the porch, above a phaan, the Thai number five (๕) is visible, which is a reference to king Rama V, who visited the mountain during a royal tour in April 1890.
