Phu Mahk Yahng Forest Monastery
Phu Mahk Yahng is the name of a mountain in Roi Et province and whose name means ‘Milk Fruit (fig.) Mountain’.
Its summit offers some stunning views of the valley below, and has a kind of Buddhist forest temple.
The summit also has a colourful Buddha statue with the panjawakkih, i.e. the five ascetics to whom the Buddha gave his first sermon (fig.).
The temple is fully known as Samnak Song Phu Mahk Yahng.
