A Khmer stone sculpture (11th-12th century AD) from Angkor Wat depicting the Phrasoot of Siddhartha. Maha Maya, the prince mother, holding a tree branch whilst giving birth to the Buddha  from her side. Next to her sits Brahma who receives the child in his arms.
