Phra Song Meuang is the deity in charge of watching over, as well as maintaining the various governmental departments and ministries. He is also responsible for protecting the welfare and happiness of the country's citizens. In art, he is depicted standing upright and wearing a chadah (fig.), while holding a sword in one hand and raising a conch with the other.
