Phi Boong Tao
Phi Boong Tao are masks made from calabashes (fig.), which are colourfully painted into giants' faces (fig.), thus resembling yaks' khon masks (fig.).
They are used in an annual event in Loei as an offering to the Phra Phuttha Nawa Banphot (fig.) in Phu Reua National Park.
