A singing bowl with the Tibetan inscription ‘Om mani padme hum’ or ‘Aum mani padma hum’ in Sanskrit. For some reason the second last word on the bowl (padme) was split in two (pad - me).

On the bottom of the bowl a Tibetan Om or Aum sign is inscribed. This kind of signing bowl could hence be used as a prayer bowl in the same manner as a prayer wheel.
