Doi Inthanon Chedi
The Doi Inthanon Chedi on the summit of the nation's highest mountain, located in Chiang Mai. These twin pagodas were built by the Royal Thai Air Force to commemorate the 60th birthday of King Bhumipon Adunyadet and Queen Sirikit Kitthi-yagon.
The silver Phra Mahathat Naphaphonphumisiri pa-goda in the foreground is in honour of the queen, the golden Phra Maha-that Naphamethanidon pagoda in the back-ground is dedicated to the king.
