  Nai Thaen

Nai Thaen is one of the 11 heroic leaders who in 1767 fought the invading Burmese in defence of the Bang Rajan camp in Singburi (fig.).

 

He was a brave general and skilled in planning battles, who had led his troops in several victorious battles against the Burmese, and though in his 4th campaign against this arch enemy he had been able to kill the Burmese General Surin Chokhong, who soon after also succumbed from a lethal infection to a wound he sustained on his knee in the same battle.
