A gathering of Muslims in the southern province of Pattani. The boys and men are wearing traditional hats called kapioh (fig.), as well as jubbah (fig.).

 

These loose knee-long shirts are worn over pairs of loose trousers, and thus covering the entire body, except for the hands and face.

The girls and women are also wearing thobes, which are also referred to as hijab (fig.), as well as a headscarf which is usually named khimar (fig.).
