Miracle Beach (fig.), in Thai called Thalae Waek (ทะเลแหวก), at Koh Kai (เกาะไก่) or ‘Chicken Island’ (fig.), officially known as Koh Dam Khwan (เกาะด้ามขวาน) and but also referred to as Koh Dam Hok (เกาะด้ามหอก), Koh Hua Khwan (เกาะหัวขวาน), Koh Dam Hok Dam Khwan (เกาะด้ามหอกด้ามขวาน), as well as Koh Poda Nok (เกาะปอดะนอก), i.e. ‘Outer Poda Island’, located in the Bay of Ao Nang in Krabi. During low tide a stroke of beach connects Chicken Island with the nearby islands Koh Thap (เกาะทับ) and Koh Moh (เกาะหม้อ). The mountains in the back are part the island Koh Poda (เกาะปอดะ).
