Meru Phrommathat
Meru Phrommathat is a now toppled brick chedi situated on a high mound inside Phimai's ancient city wall.
It is assumed to date back to the late Ayutthaya period, i.e. the 18th century AD and according to legend was the cremation ground for a legendary King named Phrommathat, from which it got its name.
