Manuthiha is a mythological, sphinx-like creature from Burma, half-man half-lion. It can also be found in Thailand, especially in towns close to the border with Myanmar, e.g. Sangkhlaburi, Mae Hong Son, Mae Saai, etc. This one, carved from wood, was seen in the town of Mae Hong Son.
