A female Lesser Adjutant. Its plumage is similar to that of a non-breeding male, with the upper body and wings being black, and the underparts whitish.

 

Its head and yellowish neck are bare, whilst the bill is pale, long and thick. It has vinous-tinged head-sides, and the legs and slightly webbed feet are light grey.
