Vietnamese-style statue of Khong Tu, i.e. the Chinese philosopher Konfutse (fig.), who is in English known as Confucius. He is typically portrayed holding one hand on top of the other (fig.), a mudra or hand position, that symbolizes the balance of yin and yang (fig.). On his robe is a Mandarin square (fig.) showing a dragon (fig.).
