Kandawgyi Lake
Kandawgyi Lake and its natural surroundings in the city center of Rangoon, until 2006 the capital of Burma.
Its name means Great Royal Lake. It has a surface area of circa 150 acre and is approximately 8 kilometers in circumference.
Among its attractions are wooden walkways over the water and the Karaweik, a replica of a Burmese royal barge (fig.).
