When UNESCO in 2013 presented the honorary prize of World Book Capital to Bangkok as the 13th city in its capacity that was declared the metropolis of reading in order to encourage learning by books at an international level, Princess Sirindhorn granted her royal permission to print the cover of her book Kaew Jom Kaen on a commemorative postage stamp, issued to mark the event.
