The 8.5 hectare KL Bird Park in
the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur is one of the world's largest covered
aviaries and boasts over 3,000 birds, representing more than
200 species from all over the world.
It opened
in 1991 and is located adjacent to the verdant Lake
Gardens, close to the National Mosque (fig.)
